While I haven't actually played this yet, I've heard a lot of positive things about it. It interests me quite a lot, and I would like to purchase it at some point. I have somewhat of a soft spot for zombie games, and on that basis, I'll be kind and give it 8/10 |

| I played it at a friends once and didnt find it horrible or anything though I could understand why some people say it gets boring/repeatitive after awhile. 6/10 |

Watched my buddy play through Dead Island just recently, thought it looked pretty lame. Admittedly, I don't like zombies and find the trend to be annoying....
3/10 The graphics, while fine, aren't as polished as I feel they could be, and the game suffered from framerate issues when there was too much zombie action on screen. Furthermore, clunky player movement made this title seem outdated to me.

Zombies? Errr. I don't like the idea of puttting zombies into games, it's just stupid. Although I haven't played it , I've watched a youtube video of it and the game play looks good.

I like zombies so I was naturally attracted to this game. The trailer looked great as well. When I got to playing it though ... wasn't what I expected. The pacing of the game is incredibly slow and it gets boring fast. Even though the pacing kind of works for a survival game, it's just overdone. The respawning enemies only further slows things down. Missions are all repetitive fetch me quests. I like the game but I can't bring myself to playing it again. Just wasn't all that great to me.

| 4/10 - I played it once when my friend let me borrow it, I didn't enjoy it at all and gave him it back the next day. I prefer the other zombie survival games (e.g. Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising) |
