I was planning on getting a Final Fantasy game, but there's so many to choose from!
Which one is the best one to get, for an Xbox 360? |

The old ones are the best but nobody has those systems so I suggest 10, 10-2, 13, 8, and 13-2
If you like those games I suggest also that you try the kingdom hearts series thoseare also great games |

STFU, young'un. Plenty of people have those systems. Including me. Though I do concur with you about 10.
But my all-time favorite is FF6. And you actually CAN play it with fairly current systems. The original SNES version is available on the Wii VC... or you can look for a copy of the 2007 GBA remake FF6 Advance |

| The Old Games have been ported so many times I'm sure you'll find away...otherwise go with the easy answer and go on PSN and DL FF7 |

Don't start with 13. I know you wanted from 360, and that everyone's tastes are different, but chances are good that if you start with 13, you'll be soured on the franchise. Its not a terrible title, but far from the others named.
3, 7, 8, 10, 12 and Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2...these I suggest.
if you do start with 13, be patient with it. Its slow going often, and requires a good deal of grinding. |

I very very very strongly recommend you avoid getting 13.
7, 8 & 9 are highly regarded and are probably all are in the PSN Store. 4 & 6 are also highly regarded, you can probably grab a GBA version for either, I know that 4 has a 'remade' 3D version on DS and there is also a port (not of the 3D version) on the PSP.
7 is most popularly regarded as one of the best games ever, if you are unsure of what to get due to our varying opinions, it seems easy enough to just go with that one. I've only personally played through 10, 12 and 13, and 12 was my favourite. |

yeah.....prolly shouldn't have gotten an X-box if you wanna play Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy 13 is pretty awful.....it has...um...nice music tho =p |

Definitly play 6 through 10-2 then definitly play 13 and 13-2
Now I know what your gonna say shut up it's a terrible game but I love the graphics, music, storyline, although some characters annoy me (erhemm hope) I think most are really great and highly suggest you go for those 2 also.
Now you NEED to play kingdom hearts 1 and 2 . skip the DS games they sour your taste. But definitly play Kingdom hearts 1, 're-chain of memories and 2 |

I actually mean Final Fantasy VI, but it was released on SNES as FFIII, because the real FFIII had not been released outside of Japan at that point. I forget that sometimes lol, so it's a bit muddled. The version I played was Final Fantasy III though, on SNES. Featured rebellion, mech suits, so forth. It too later had a Gameboy Advance version, and while I didn't play it, its opening was practically identical.
I haven't played the Japanese FF3. |

I am an FF6 fanatic, so I already know everything you are saying, and I too also originally played it under the title FF3. Nonetheless, it is properly referred to as FF6 today, as otherwise you confuse people. |

I'm gonna suggest skipping the Final Fantasy series because aside from IX it's veered from boring to garbage to just vile and disgusting as of late.
Unfortunately there aren't many good alternatives on the 360. But if you really wanna see what the RPG genre has to offer and you can get a PS2 somehow, I'd definitely recommend the Shadow Hearts games, Suikoden V and the Shin Megami Tensei titles. |

Kamakazi Kid I know you are looking for a FF game on the 360,however I have rarely played FF games.But since it is a role playing game and I assume you like role playing games. I recommend for you to try "Lost Odyssey".It was actually created by the same guy that created FF.The game is long and is the only one I know that is a 4 Disc game on the 360.
