Anyone on Kami have some kick ass recipes to share? or just general cooking tips?

Something I love at the minute, that is very very simple and very very quick. Get a bit of smoked white fish, put it in a microwavable dish, add in some milk, butter and parsley to create a sauce and microwave it for about 2 minutes with the lid on. Lovely.

Another very simple meal I make is simply boil pasta as normal, drain it, put in into a dish/bowl/whatever, add some cream cheese and whatever else you wish, I like ham, chicken and peas. Then just stir, can easily feed a family and can be eaten hot or cold.

Nothing groundbreaking in wither of them, just a handy, easy meal to make if you haven't got a lot of time.

Is it bad that I thought your suggestions were horrifyingly bland, and then I saw what country you were from and immediately excused you?

Ok guys, play nice. Pretty sure it was just a really dry joke.

I think they sound pretty tasty for simple meals. I'll ask my wife for a few easy ones she uses, and get back to you.

Personally, I like to ground up some beef, dice up some bell peppers, add some spanish rice and black pepper. Its also good with corn and or green beans thrown in. Sometimes I'll throw in some diced onion too. Might go make me some of that right now (at 2am lol)

The most complicated thing I know how to make is a very simple Chicken Pesto pasta which comes out alright. It's only a bit complicated cos the pesto is homemade by blending nuts, cheese and a specific plant I forget at the moment and a few other stuff.

I also do with alot of fruits like a pseudo banana ice cream by simply freezing bananas and blending it though i throw in extras such as honey or something but just a small hint. I also do fruit smoothies consisting of nuts, milk and various of fruits (usually strawberries as the main fruit combined with bananas or kiwis) but I'm still learning how to cook a bit.

Yes, it was a joke... and I wasn't fat I was lamenting the lack of, it was seasoning... like what's in your dish for example... come to think of it, my mom used to have a recipe almost exactly like yours here... now that's good eatin'

i love pasta and noodles (chicken flavor) but i get a packet that has hardly any flavor in it. so if you cook the next pack in the juices of the last, then it will have double the flavor and you can mix it in with the first pack to have an even better taste.
there is also a "fake pizza" idea where you get a baguette/ stick (or whatever you call that bread) and put some cheese on it, you can also add toppings if you want but it tastes really different to cheese on toast or pizza, its unique

One of the best desserts ever is something that America doesn’t have and you totally owe it to yourself to give it a go. It's call Pavlova, and it's a soft meringue with a marshmallow centre, topped off in cream and fruit such as strawberries, kiwifruit, passionfruit and blueberries. Here's the receipe:
