I think she's a good character but as much as I tried to learn her. I just can't do a solid and good working combo with her which does some good amount of damage. I only can get up to 28% or so.
I can really imagine Skarlet and Mileena as Shao Kahn's two daughters and royal guards.
Overall, Skarlet felt like a really interesting character but her attire (sum red & black bikini) really didn't do much for me. Kinda looked like NRS went lazy with it. But her alternate costume is pretty nice, though. I can see why Skarlet and other DLC characters couldn't fit the storyline. But I hope she'll be featured in MK10 with a more significant role and a solid personality.
Guy: on some lyrics sites, the "related lyrics" could use some improvement... "Girls just wanna have fun" listed next to Nirvana's "Rape me"?
i think that Skarlet is a great character with some good moves. i like the knives and the teleport. she is also feared amongst some because when i chose Skarlet to fight with online some people decide to quit

I really think she's a brilliant character, her concept is silly yet fun! I'm finding her immense fun to play as too, my new favourite character!
She's the main reason I've persuaded myself to start playing the game competitively online. I really hope it's not the first and last we see of her!
I like her quite a bit as well. Her move set flows really well. The people that spam her teleport and projectiles are easy enough to beat. But that's with anyone that spams characters moves...
I don't know if I like her back story, but she's not a bad addition to the roster.
My favorite of the new MK9 characters. I loved her specials. they were fast and slick.

What new characters? She's the only real new character in the game. All the other new characters were either guest characters, (Freddy Krueger, Kratos) or variations of already existing characters (Cyber Sub-Zero).
I 'm thinking, Skarlett is the third character based on a rumor to be made playable. Could this happen to other rumored characters, like Hornbuckle and Bellokk?

It could be interesting to have some of the other "rumored" characters make an appearance in the next game, but I think I'd rather have either new characters or other characters that didn't make it into MK9 in the next game.
Let's just remember that Ermac, Skarlet and Blaze were rumors before they were anything in the series... If the same happens to Belokk, I would be one of his players.
