How long did that take you? The Opera browser on my Wii is crap. I award you for your patience; you are truly a brave soul.
After realizing that I have become a complete stereotype (I sit in a bathrobe all day in a house full of cats watching soap operas) I decided that I need to take some action to get what I really want out of life. I've gathered up a lot of things to pawn or sell on eBay including games, jewelry from past boyfriends, and some of my treasured vintage dresses. It'll be good to part with a lot of stuff that I don't need and a little extra cash is going to help me move closer to my dreams. I also can't wait to return to work this weekend. I have to get my boy back, whatever it takes. |

Several things on my mind
1- My store is understaffed on purpose, as evidenced how yesterday I ran the store on my own with a long line for 30 minutes until my manager was back from her lunch break.
2 - I have found myself turning on my PS3/Wii and just staying on the dashboard for hours deciding what to play until I turn them off
3 - I've memorized nearly all of Gunnery Sargent Hartman's lines from Full Metal Jacket
4 - I've been listening to the exact same songs for over a month and I love it |

well today has been pretty boring. lately i have been having the strangest dreams about giant french fries in the middle of my street...yes i know i need professional help lol. anyway i guess you can tell that today has been boring cause otherwise i would have wrote about something else other than the french fries 
but oh well. i will problably be doing some hw later cause i cant keep putting it off, it has sat there now for like 4 weeks and it has got to be done soon |

| Lately i just have too much to do and too mcuh people which seem to feel the need for entertainment provided or sustained by me on a daily basis. I'm totally cornered and the feeling of nhaving no idea when next i might get just 5 minutes to myself for things i want to do doesnt make me very comfortable |

My poor cat was locked outside the whole night. I swear sometimes I can't rely on my parents to pay attention to his where abouts. F*****g hell!
Filling out an application for a nearby Ace hardware store. If my current employer keeps up how it is and does not hire more people, then my sanity is not long for this world. I can't keep up being a cashier, sales associate, sales floor stocker, janitor, all at once every day at 100% while running the store on my own. It's ass! |

ooh i hope you land the position, helping out with my dad's company hasnt really been working out so great for me either. situation is the complete opposite of yours funnily enough, appears as if they dont need me to do literally anything lately due to the company having so many older, more qualified employees which have been with them longer. I rarely get called in at all in result and thus i remain about as broke as ever before.
Anyways, hilariously one of the top alternative places i've been considering putting in an application at is a local hardware store. Gonna wait a few more weeks and get some kind of read on how difficult school is going to be this year, I dont feel like rushing into anything then having to juggle the world 24/7 cause last year school was definitely enough problems in itself all on its own. But if it doesnt seem that bad i'm pretty sure i'll see if I can find something there before looking any further. To me it seems like an ideal first job since they'd probably be less constantly busy than grocerey stores but still provide you will all the same good first hand experience. would be great if you ended up getting the job, then you could give me an idea of what it's like/if it's any different from working at any other run of the mill store. =D

Paid for my classes; I set up a payment plan. All on my own. I've only got to get one book, and it's about 135-180 dollars used or new, respectively. I can't quite afford it right now, I get paid next week, and classes start the 29th.
Oh, and my schedule has me working that first week of school. I'm going to ask them why my schedule hasn't been updated yet. |
