2 people are sick and one of the sick persons can't find a baby sitter for her kid

Since we were understaffed to begin with myself and one other guy are stacked with their working hours and then some. I almost went 40 hours this past week. Always being the go to guy to open and close the store and everything. Earlier today I managed to get two hours of sleep in before work just after doing laundry since I had not been able to do it all week (I've been wearing the same clothes for a week!). I was asked to once again stay from morning until closing time but I put my foot down and said no, I've done more than enough work for them. I have stuff to do and I'm exhausted. So they called someone else and I came home.
Just four more days of this and all these issues will be theirs to deal with. I'll be free to start my new job at a smaller store. |

Ugh
today has been a real nice day
the stray cats living in our garage made a huge mess all over everything that we considered valuable. That basically flipped the switch for my mother, making her get them and place them in a small box with tons of holes n stuff. A few hours later, I find myself in a car with her, driving off to place them somewhere at the park. She was seriously worried that one of them might've died while in the box, and actually made us think so during the drive there. Right after she did the deed, she broke down in the car. I assumed that meant one of them really did die, but I think she was just really mad over the whole situation. I didn't even get to get cleaned up, brush my teeth, etc. I dealt with that miserable scene 10 minutes after I woke up. Great way to start off the day. Nothing happens for a good 5 hours, then the topic is brought back up and more crying and UGH. Now I'm just sitting here, waiting for the day to end. It's funny, yesterday was a rather great day. Then, my "karma" does a 180, and I'm faced with misery. I hate when this happens... |

I went to my cousins house yesterday to watch some football and his girlfriend has a friend round as well. She's gorgeous. I got talking to her and we like the same music, tv shows, kinds of movies, she likes games, likes to travel, so she's perfect for me. She leaves and I ask my cousin's gf about her and if she was single...turns out she's a lesbian.   |

Really, really crappy weekend. Thursday was a really good day for me, had lots of fun in my Bio class and let's just say that a good day was really needed considering I've had a crappy few weeks. Then on Friday I got sick, still kind of am, but it was much worse. Oh and I have no internet at my house right now.
Yup, tough weekend. I am getting faster internet now though, so that's a plus. |

Weird stuff happened all day at work.
-Elderly customer says she likes my accent and asks where I'm from. Uhhh... Kentucky? Didn't realize I had a non-Kentucky-sounding accent.
-Dude and chick walk into my shop holding hands. As they pass me, the dude turns around and winks at me. Feel violated and regret not calling him out in it and saving his "girlfriend" from another second of misery with this womanizing scumbag.
-See a girl who looks exactly like a friend of mine but it's not her.
-Swear I hear a phone ringing on and off just inches from where I'm standing but there's no phone to be found.
-Strange creaking/rumbling noises coming from the ceiling constantly. Spirits?
-At least half of the people who came into my shop today were pregnant women. Why is everyone around here pregnant?!
Guess it was just one of those days. |

Been kind of a good week so far actually. Nothing special really, but I have felt good recently -- in part due to not being as sick anymore and shortly I won't be sick at all. Just got internet back at home today as well and on Friday I'll buy a 3DS for myself for my birthday and enjoy some chinese food.
Haha trust me that this is really, really good for me considering the last few weeks I've had. |

30 minutes ago my brother turned the ripe old age of 22  and I have a few gifts for him.
- A Facebook wall photo of his two favorite BlazBlue characters made by me
- My copy of BattleField 3 with a $20 PSN card so he doesn't have to pay a penny for the bullchit online pass AND to buy whatever else with the remaining $10
- And depending on how fat my paycheck is, I might even get him a set of wheels so he's mobile (a bike). |
