Warner Bros. have today confirmed that NetherRealm Studios’ latest project Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released in April 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U consoles. Along with news of the game’s release month comes a brand new trailer that was debuted earlier today at the Tokyo Game Show. It features one thrilling surprise — proof that Kevin Conroy (voice actor from Batman: Arkham City and Batman: The Animated Series) will be reprising his role as Batman!
Code Red! Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment confirmed that Injustice: Gods Among Us, the new DC Comics fighting game from NetherRealm Studios, is scheduled to battle its way into retail stores worldwide April 2013 for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Wii U™.
Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favourite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. Finally, Warner Bros. have supplied us with three new screenshots to go along with today’s announcement, featuring the likes of Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Batman and Superman.

April 2013, huh? Gives me plenty of time to get a PS3 and/or 360 before it comes out.
Also, Kevin Conroy's voice was in my house a lot growing up, so I'm gonna be happy hearing him again. |

April 2013......that's not very far from now. I hope this means that NRS didn't do anything stupid, like rush through making the game over the period of time it's been announced (Almost 1 year since it's announcement in May). I think everyone remembers Cyrax and Ermac having infinite combos on day 1 of MK9... but then again, there's bound to be glitches from the get-go. Hopefully they just aren't as bad as what we've had to deal with before.
With this, my hype meter for next year goes up a tad. I hope this game's release date doesn't conflict with other game's release dates, especially games I actually want >_> |

Oh man, I sure hope so. Reminds me of those YouTube videos called "Nolan North Is in Every Game." 
It's cool that NRS is aiming for an April release, since that'll make it exactly two years between Injustice and MK (2011).
Judging from the trailers we've seen so far, all of the movesets in Injustice are going to be really imaginative. I can't wait to see Harley's full moveset particularly. The exploding pastries make me laugh every time. |

| Wow, this looks really good, also batman looks just like the movie one, Christian Bale, their helmets and face look the same and thats cool. But that parry move on batman, if you see that animation of him raging, then you know to stop hitting your controller, so maybe it wont work |
