In keeping with their regular deliveries, Midway have posted a low-quality version of Raiden's render on the official Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Facebook page.
With a new design best described as a fusion of his Mortal Kombat 2 and Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance attires, Raiden has once again become a favourite as fans greatly applaud his new look.

im so glad that it isnt a mk 1,2,3,4 raiden and that its from the new generation. I guess midway wasnt brave enough to go back any way im happy do u reckon he will have is staff nin fatalities and specials?

He does look like himself from Deadly Alliance, but just with an MKII feel into it. He does look cool though, just without sleeves.

Ugh...
I don't like it. The hat is wayyyyyy to big, the cape is kinda dumb looking, the expression on his face doesn't make it better a bit. lol
I do like the outfit though. Reminds me quite a bit of this,which coincidently is my all time favorite Raiden look. So it's kinda half good and half bad for me. haha

I absolutely love the new render of Rayden! It's flawless in every aspect and has a perfectly classic feel to it. Like Sweettooth said, a fusion of his MKII and MKDA outfits, and I find it awesome. Hell, this just might be my favorite Rayden outfit yet! Now we wait for a confirmation of his trademark flying spear-dive attack...
