It has been an exciting week for Mortal Kombat and DC Universe fans alike, with a whole heap of news and media published by various sources.
First up comes episode six of the popular MKast, in which Senior Designer John Edwards and Mortal Kombat co-creator John Tobias join regulars Hector Sanchez and Hans Lo on the microphone. In the longest podcast ever, various discussions are held about the game's Rage mode, Kitana, Fatalities, and the comic book currently being crafted by Tobias. Next up comes two high-resolution renders of Deathstroke and Kano, both of whom were confirmed at the Games Convention in Leipzig.
 
Midway have also decided to release the complete roster of heroes and super villains from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, ending speculation on who would make the cut. This roster, however, most likely excludes any additional hidden characters (should there be any).
Below are all of the fighters confirmed in the final build from the Mortal Kombat and DC Universes respectively:

Finally, although rather old by now, Midway have released a number of screenshots from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, two of which showcase the game's incredible attention to detail as Scorpion performs his Toasty finishing move on Sub-Zero. The supplementary screen captures are said to be from the game's in-depth Story mode.

Now that I think of it, I wonder how different he'll look. I didn't think the characters would look too different than before when I looked at Liu Kang and Raiden. But, seeing Jax and Kano, I wonder if they're going to change him up.

You never know, it could be a 50/50 chance but, he'll most likely be kick ass...I'm at an overall happy with this game and will get it immediately.

God bless Midway for giving us the perfect roster! I'd like the Kano render more if he had stubble as opposed to a beard. Still, it's a good enhancing of an old look.

I can't wait for Baraka's render, its going to be sick. I like Deathstroke's but the scales on the costume look weird. Kano's costume is cool too. Can't wait for more updates.
