| I guess I could say I haven't really been a fan of Mortal Kombat for that long...the first game I played (Deception) didn't really impress me. I had no idea Chess or Puzzle Kombat even existed, or the wonderful story mode it had. I would always play against my friend, and I found it to get boring quickly. It wasn't until the release of Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks that I really started enjoying the series. I was in awe at the amazing opening sequence, and the gameplay was great. I still never get tired of it! It was also in this game that I witnessed my first Fatality. What could I say? I was simply awe-struck. This game was so unbelievably brutal, but in a good way. After this experience, I turned to computers. I researched the series, and eventually got to play each and every one of them. Pretty soon after that I performed what would be my first Fatality. It felt really good to see my character (Kano) finish off Sub-Zero. The next big Mortal Kombat related thing that would happen to me was the day I joined Mortal Kombat Online, the first MK website I would ever be a part of. It was there that I met Blackout member MK-4-LIFE, and he introduced me to a web site a friend of his had made, and eventually through a thread he made there, Blackout itself. I know I will forever be a fan of this wonderful series, as well as a friend to others that can say the same. |
