NetherRealm Studios have just released a new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X, showcasing the still expanding roster and announcing the return of Princess Kitana.

This isn’t the first time a character that was killed off in Mortal Kombat (2011) has returned from the dead. A mere two weeks ago, Kung Lao was revealed to have been resurrected to return in Mortal Kombat X. The above trailer also marks our first glimpse at Kung Lao in action, utilizing his signature hat in more unique ways than ever, and unloading a fury of rapid punches into his opponent.

In addition, we also get what appears to be a few glimpses of Kung Lao’s and Kitana’s fatalities being performed. The video concludes with another glimpse of Goro, the pre-Order exclusive character, in a similar manner to his original reveal, but this time animated.

Mortal Kombat X will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when it launches on April 14, 2015.
