Three new screenshots have been released alongside today’s Lin Kuei trailer, featuring Smoke, Rain, Cyrax and Sektor.
Smoke and Rain were both confirmed as playable kombatants in Mortal Kombat 1, ending an extended drought for Smoke fans who have waiting some twelve years for his return to the series. Rain is also back with a radically different design that is both familiar and foreign at the same time.
Cyrax and Sektor don their klassic attire in a nod to their debut look in Mortal Kombat 3; both cyber assassins will feature as Kameo fighters. They too have not been playable since 2011, with many fans keeping their fingers crossed for a spot on the main roster.
