Two-time EVO world champion Carl “Perfect Legend” White is set to make his first trip down under as the bustling city of Melbourne gets set to host its seventh annual Battle Arena Melbourne event.

Running from May 22-24, BAM7 sees competitive fighters from around Australia congregate to fight for glory and a slice of the prize.

Marking Mortal Kombat X’s first major competitive event, the drama will unfold in a themed play around aptly dubbed “The Pit.” Sponsored by WB Games Australia, prizes include must-have Mortal Kombat merchandise for participants across all skill levels, as well as a $1,000 cash prize pool for players who make it into the top 8. The best players will have the rare opportunity to juke it out against Perfect Legend himself, who won back-to-back Mortal Kombat (2011) titles in 2011 and 2012.

Think you’ve got what it takes to take on and defeat other Mortal Kombat players from around the country? Keep an eye on BAM7’s official Facebook event, where you will soon be able to register your interest and purchase tickets.
