If you’re a die-hard Mortal Kombat fan, chances are you would have heard his name.

In fact, series veteran John Vogel has been a part of the team since the very beginning, working on the very first Mortal Kombat alongside Ed Boon, John Tobias and Dan Forden.

A hugely talented writer and artist, John spent most of high school and art school applying for positions both within the video game industry and at a local newspaper. Through his valiant effort, he joined Midway in the late 80s; more than 25 years later he continues his work on various projects at NetherRealm Studios.

When he isn’t working on studio titles or caring for his daughter Luna, John dedicates his precious spare time to his latest project: a webcomic named “Skitter.” Based around a spider named Jack, Skitter follows the chucklesome antics of various insects cleverly intertwined with modern pop culture. Put simply: “it’s what bugs do when humans are near.”

Updated weekly, be sure to keep up-to-date and help support John’s work by subscribing on the official Skitter website. Be sure to also like Skitter on Facebook, follow Skitter on Twitter and subscribe to his YouTube channel.

We at Kamidogu would like to extend a huge congratulations to John and wish him the best for the future of Skitter. Kamidogu, as well as the greater Mortal Kombat kommunity, are here to back you every step of the way!
