Announced only a short time ago on X, “the greatest superhero in any timeline” is set to see his gameplay trailer drop in a matter of hours.
John, better known as Homelander, is the main antagonist in the popular Amazon television series The Boys. With flawless looks and the powers of a god, he is considered one of the greatest superheroes alive. His abilities include flight, super strength, incredible stamina, X-ray and laser vision, as well as superb sight and hearing.
Due to premiere at 6am PT / 8am CT on 29 May, Homelander is the penultimate kombatant to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster from Kombat Pack 1. He is set to join the fray next month, before Takeda Takahashi and Kameo fighter Ferra round out the downloadable pack.
