Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day, with NetherRealm Studios spreading their fondness for their fans by releasing a new trailer titled “Here Come the Girls.”

Girl power is the theme of this latest video, featuring the first gameplay footage of Catwoman, Cheetah and Poison Ivy fighting alongside Black Canary.

Having featured in both Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Catwoman needs little introduction. Starring as Gotham City’s most infamous burgular, Selina Kyle pounces into the Injustice 2 roster with her signature whip in hand. Despite her villainous nature, she has a soft spot for the Dark Knight and genuinely cares for her hometown of Gotham.

Cheetah is a new addition to the Injustice universe, and is best known as a major adversary to Wonder Woman. A former anthropologist turned master thief, Barbara Minerva exhibits the speed and strengths of a cheetah after a ritual was performed following her saving the life of a priest in an Urzkartaga temple.

Finally, radical botanical biochemist Pamela Isley, better known as Poison Ivy, enters the arena bringing along her signature deadly sting. With an ability to control plants after being subjected to a number of less than humane experiments, Poison Ivy will stop at nothing to protect her beloved flora. While beautiful, her noxious abilities make her a daunting adversary that should never be underestimated.
