Excitement continues to build as the first trailer for the eagerly awaited second Mortal Kombat movie gets ready to drop.
News broke earlier today that a live YouTube event would be held tomorrow beginning 8:05am PT following a number of cryptic tweets by series co-creator Ed Boon and producer Todd Garner. Early reports suggest that the trailer itself will debut at 9am PT.
To help build hype for the main trailer, a teaser titled “Uncaged Fury” gives fans their first glimpse of Johnny Cage, who is portrayed by Karl Urban. Sporting attire similar to his appearance in Mortal Kombat 11, the tongue-in-cheek teaser serves as a fun and lighthearted whetting of the appetite ahead of the full trailer.
