Available as a pre-order bonus, the 2,000 year old half-human half-dragon returns leaner and meaner than ever. Goro’s three variations include Kuatan Warrior (in which he gains a powerful Ground Pound and Chest Charge), Tigrar Fury (which allows him to use his Flame Ball and Dragon Breath moves), as well as Dragon Fangs (which equips him with bladed gauntlets, much like his fighting style of the same name in Mortal Kombat: Deception). Mortal Kombat X will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One…

The Russian edition of monthly mens magazine MAXIM have this evening unveiled a new Mortal Kombat X trailer that focuses on the franchise’s most prominent Shaolin heroes, Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Newcomer Kung Jin is also showcased, but the real mystery lies in the former warriors’ new allegiance to the Netherrealm. Previously unconfirmed, Liu Kang can be seen in a somewhat delusional form, brainwashed into helping Shinnok and his Netherrealm forces of evil. Seething with rage after Raiden’s actions during the events of Mortal Kombat (2011), the video ends with the thunder god having his oesophagus ripped out and stuffed into his mouth…
