Developed by Digital Eclipse, a retro gaming studio solely focused on the restoration of classic video game titles, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will gratify fans who enjoyed the franchise’s early beginnings. Subtitled “Anytime, Anywhere,” the stream focused on the mobile port of Mortal Kombat X, as well as returning kombatants Kenshi and Sonya Blade. Following the release of the Cage Family trailer last month, NetherRealm Studios have released a new family-oriented trailer introducing father and daughter combo Jax and Jacqueline Briggs. After losing his arms and later suffering a horrifying demise during the events of Mortal Kombat (2011), Jax makes a return to the series under unknown circumstances with his daughter fighting by his side. Mortal Kombat X will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when it launches on April 14, 2015. In addition, it will be available for both iOS and Android devices in April.
DC Comics have released chapter thirteen of the hugely popular Mortal Kombat X comic series. The first part of Issue #5 focuses on Scorpion and Takeda as they track down the missing Kamidogu dagger and the man who stole it: Sub-Zero. Chapter #13 is now available for digital download via the DC Entertainment website, iBooks Store, Google Play, Kindle Store and Nook Store.
