The Terminator (T-800) is now playable for those who purchased Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack. To celebrate the milestone, NetherRealm Studios have released a render and artwork via the game’s official Twitter page. Although Arnold Schwarzenegger is not voicing the character, we strongly believe that the studio could not have done a better job in their depiction of the Governator. General availability will begin next week for those who do not own the Kombat Pack. Included as part of the update are a number of skins for Johnny Cage, Sonya and Kano, as well as a “Cassie Quinn” skin to…
As fans of the highly successful Terminator franchise prepare for the release of Terminator: Dark Fate later this month, NetherRealm Studios have unveiled the highly anticipated trailer showing the T-800 in action in Mortal Kombat 11. Concealing his signature shotgun in a box of Johnny Cage action figures (a throwback to the iconic mall scene in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day), a visibly aged Arnold enters battle donning his Dark Fate attire. An impressionist is voicing the T-800 as expected, although fans remain divided on the voiceover’s overall quality. Featuring the likeness of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Terminator T-800 is the ultimate…

It has officially begun — filming for the new Mortal Kombat movie due out in 2021 started today in South Australia. Parts of Port Adelaide were transformed to resemble the streets of Chicago as hundreds of extras poured into the highly secretive set for day one of filming. 9News Adelaide were there along with South Australia’s premier Steven Marshall to celebrate the state’s largest ever film shoot. Blink and you would have missed the reference to two kombatants in a storefront’s signage in Sindel’s Lemon Lime Soda and Drink Cetrion Kola. To mark the momentous occasion, screenwriter Greg Russo took…
Following the recent confirmation that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be voicing his likeness as the Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11, fans started numerous petitions to ensure the authenticity of a second DLC character was not lost. Putting fans at ease, esteemed voiceover actor Keith David took to his Twitter account today to make the announcement that he will be reprising his role of Spawn. David voiced Spawn in the HBO series Todd McFarlane’s Spawn, which saw eighteen episodes released over three seasons from 1997 to 1999. The series was met with critical acclaim, winning two Emmys and two Golden Reel…
Despite the Austrian Oak’s likeness as the Terminator confirmed in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack roster reveal trailer, sources indicate that his unique voice is not part of the deal. Instead the highly anticipated T-800 will be voiced by an actor who sounds similar to Schwarzenegger, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter and apparently confirmed by sources at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. A tweet by series co-creator Ed Boon following the Kombat Pack trailer’s release indicated to many that the studio had “gotten” Arnold, but to what degree remains to be seen. As expected, the news has continued to…
After months of pokes, prods, teases and trolls, the full roster for what we expect will be the first of two Kombat Packs has been revealed. Following an earlier leak, NetherRealm Studios posted the trailer fans had been waiting for, albeit short of many surprises. While many had assumed that protagonist Ash Williams from The Evil Dead was all but confirmed, it seems that his position may have possibly been taken by DC Comics’ The Joker, an inclusion that has proven to be controversial if early reactions are anything to go by. From the official press release: The Terminator T-800 from “Terminator: Dark…

In addition, this time the Matoka warrior enters battle alongside the spirits of powerful animals, including a bear, wolf and eagle. Nothing is held back, as Nightwolf unleashes a barrage of fast and furious blows, topped off with an incredibly brutal Fatality and amazing outro. Nightwolf, born as Grey Cloud, is a proud and fierce warrior…
Ancestors give me strength: Nightwolf is almost upon us! Ed Boon took to Twitter earlier today to share a short teaser video of the Native American warrior in hot anticipation for his upcoming launch in Mortal Kombat 11. Branding his signature hatchet, Nightwolf summons a lightning bolt in the teaser to celebrate victory over his opponent. While his attire remains largely unchanged colour wise, his default look has been updated to include new warpaint, as well as multiple pieces of armour.
