Despite the furore that erupted back in December when NetherRealm Studios announced Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat X, today’s promised release of a new gameplay trailer seems to have excited the vast majority of fans. Showing off Leatherface, Triborg, Bo’ Rai Cho and Alien in all of their glory, the video also confirms the much anticipated return of The Pit arena. Originally slated for a mid-2015 release, the High Voltage developed last generation ports of Mortal Kombat X have officially been cancelled.
